I have heard a lot of people all around me, having lots of ideas about "multi level marketing" known also as MLM, direct marketing, or just network marketing.
A misconception is when someone puts "=" between a good, tested over the years MLM and "pyramid schemes". The pyramids are illegal and only use new members to pay the top members. A network marketing involves products and/or services that are competitive on the market but are being soled to the consumers by the direct distributors of those products and services, that are satisfied with the results.
The traditional marketing involves enormous amounts of money being invested in commercials at TV, radio, ads, banners in the city and more. Even in Eastern Europe, 30 seconds of an single commercial display costs 1000's of $. And the companies invest in this because it makes sense. The more people know about you, the more units of your product you sell. But in the case of Direct marketing, those money are being given to a chain of distributors that took their time to tell someone about a specific product.
I have been involved in a lot of Network Marketing companies from over 9 years now. I have studied them see how they tick, found bad ones, good ones, some over the web some offline.
I have searched for the last 3 years a way to use the power of internet in growing revenues in a Net Marketing company. And my choice was Forever Living Products. WHY? You can see more in the detailed section of the FOT forum; for the moment, the purpose of academy is to help you understand:
